I love working at the Flower Farm Inn located in Loomis, Ca. It is the most adorable venue complete with chickens that look like Rod Stewart. Let me repeat that. Chickens. That look like Rod Stewart. That alone is worth the price of admission.
Brandi and Andrew were referred to me by one of my favorite planners, Stephanie Teague . Stephanie always has a mellow way about her that puts everyone at ease on the big day.
My girl, Sarah Maren was the photographer of the day. When I received the photos from Sarah I was so excited! As you can see, the photos are gorgeous!
Brandi and Andrew’s floral needs were simple but they still wanted the flower to be amazing. We used lots of textural elements and the perfect seasonal dahlias to make their arrangements pop. I was even able to work in some Sedum (or Stonecrop)to the arrangements to add a little touch of dusty mauve color.
Brandi wrote us the sweetest Yelp review:
“The flowers Shannon delivered for my wedding were so gorgeous and exceeded my expectations by a mile! I changed my color scheme between our initial meeting and the wedding and Shannon was great about re-designing our flowers and was extremely flexible about working within my budget. She had great suggestions for how to pull off different types of centerpieces (some more focused on flowers and others more focused on candles) to help reduce floral costs. The bouquets she delivered were stunning and exactly what I was envisioning (except slightly better!).
Shannon is a total pro and we really appreciated all the work she put into our wedding. Thanks, Shannon!”
We have so much fun designing flowers for weddings. Every weekend brings a different theme, a different color palette and a different set of flowers. Sacramento and Northern California are home to some of the prettiest wedding venues, like the Flower Farm Inn, and the most wonderful couples!
