Where to start with this beautiful Californian Ranch wedding? Floral arrangements filled with soft white and peachy tones, luxe-rustic decor and thoughtful details all add up to make this wedding a favorite!
Melissa and Rick were married on her family’s ranch in Lincoln, Ca. I loved the relaxed styling and feeling of their day. Everything was so intentional chosen to highlight special memories and honor family and friends.
Melissa’s dress was elegant and simple, so she opted for a garden style bouquet. Succulents, peachy colored garden roses, stock, spray roses, sweet peas, and cottage yarrow were the stars of the design and touches of eucalyptus and dusty miller added movement and whimsy to her richly textural bridal bouquet.
The bride tribe all wore dresses of a slate blue to navy tones, they were able to pick the styles and designs they felt most comfortable in. Adding cowboy boots to their ensemble, it was only right their flower accents should be just as individual. So Melissa requested that all her special girlfriends have flower rings made from mini succulents. I loved this idea and although so incredibly intricate and delicate to make the results were the perfect accent for Melissa’s special group.
The maids’ bouquets were slightly smaller designs of Melissa’s and featured peachy toned roses and the enchanting textural tones of scabiosa, stock, eucalyptus and dusty miller.
Some of my favorite pieces to make are the boutonnieres. Rick wore dark-colored jeans with a grey jacket teamed with a textured grey tie. We created a playfully designed boutonniere that popped against his attire. The boutonnieres are a small chance to make a bold statement so I joined eucalyptus, dusty miller and cottage yarrow together to support the center stage succulent. I loved how all the subtle tones and textures worked so well together. Rick really was one of the smiliest grooms I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
Melissa and Rick said their vows in front of guests under a dark wooden arch accented with corner arrangements of roses, stock, eucalyptus and scabiosa. Wine barrels displayed wooden lanterns and textural arrangements and the start of the aisle.
Rustic-luxe was the decor theme for the day and all the details invited the guests to relax, unwind and have some fun!
At the reception, wooden farm tables paired with cross back chairs was the perfect outdoor dining setup. The tables had slate blue runners layered over light grey fabric which allowed the floral designs featuring garden roses, scabiosa and spray roses with eucalyptus all arranged in square planter boxes to stand out. To enhance the peachy tones of the flowers, rose gold votive candle holders decorated the tables adding sparkle and glow.
How wonderful to be married in such a gorgeous and meaningful location. So much love and togetherness amongst the rolling fields of their families ranch, underneath the big California sky.
Congratulations to Melissa and Rick and thank you for having Flourish as part of your stunning day!
