One of my favorite places to trick out with pretty flowers is The old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, Ca. It is an especially wonderful venue now the new space has opened, the boiler room. Spring time weddings are lucky in that the time of year allows for some of the prettiest and most romantic locally available flowers.
Isn’t Amanda a lovely bride? She is just as lovely a person. When Amanda contacted me about providing the wedding flowers for her and Tom’s wedding at The Old Sugar Mill she expressed that she wanted the flowers to be fresh, soft and romantic.
We paired peach, coral pink and ivory garden roses with blooming jasmine, olive and other flowers to perfectly compliment the gowns of the bridal party and the wishes of the couple.
Blooming jasmine in the spring has such a lovely scent and it adds a wild romance to the designs.
The ceremony took place in the barrel room at The Old Sugar Mill. I love the extra touch the lighting added to the barrel racks.
Thank you to Lisa from Elisabeth Erin Photography for the lovely images of the day and flowers
The Boiler Room at The Old Sugar Mill is wonderful with exposed brick and rustic industrial touches.
Noting beats the cozy romance of a candlelit sweetheart table.
Congratulations Amanda and Tom! Thank you for having Flourish be part of your big day!
